Invested by White Sand Investment & Development Joint Stock Company, White Sand Doclet Resort and Spa was constructed in 2004 with a capital of USD 10 million and put into operation in 2007. Reportedly, White Sand Investment & Development Joint Stock Company plans to upgrade White Sand Doclet Resort and Spa into a four-star 500-room resort with a total capital of USD 56 million. The project is expected to begin in the beginning of 2011 and finish in 2013. To improve the quality of the White Sand Doclet Resort and Spa, White Sand Investment and Development Joint Stock Co (WSC) signed the project management contract on October 10 for White Sand Doc Let with hospitality management firm of Orion International SAS, member company of Pierre & Vacance Group (France).
