Discover the hidden Mai Chau ( 2 Day/ 1 Night )



This trip to the north west highland of Vietnam - Mai Chau offers a balance of cultural and physical activity set amongst some northern Vietnam's stunning natural landscape. We trek through villages in Mai Chau and overnight in a White Thai village where we have opportunities to observe the local lifestyle of these minority people. From the mountainous region of Mai Chau, we travel back to the nations capital, Hanoi

Day 01: Hanoi - Hoabinh - Maichau (Lunch/Dinner)

 8h00 We leave for Mai Chau, stop over in Hoa Binh Town to see the biggest Hydro - Electric Staion in Vietnam, After that heading to Mai Chau. Stopping on the way to take in the spectacular scenery. Following lunch in Mai Chau town we drive to the White Thai village - Lac Village check in the stilt-house, lunch. Afternoon we walk to the surrounding village. Our hosts for this evening will be the White Thai minority people. In sampling these peoples hospitality, we find out a little more of their lives and cultures with a cultural exchange following the evening meal.

Day 02: Van village (Breakfast/Lunch)

 Following breakfast we embark on a lovely walk to Mai Chau Market and Van village. As we walk we will encounter the local villagers going about their daily business tilling the fields, logging or herding the buffalo. We enjoy lunch before we drive back to Hanoi. Visit Muong village in Hoabinh.
18h00: arrive in Hanoi end of the tour.

Perfume pagoda group tour (1 day)



The Perfume Pagoda is one of the highlights of the Hanoi area and one of the most important religious sites in Buddhist Vietnam. Every spring, after the Vietnamese New Year, thousands of Vietnamese pilgrims come here to pray for all the health and prosperity they need to get them through the year. The pagoda itself is built into limestone cliffs and can only be reached by boat and foot, as there are no roads into this area. You will glide along scenic waterways and walk up steep mountain paths visiting the pagodas and temples that were built in this area over the last centuries.

AM : Departure at 8h00. Car/van pick you up at hotel and take 2 hour road trip to Perfume Pagoda. Then you take row - boat trip to go visit that land on the Yen stream ' romantic time ' about 1 hour to Thien Tru harbour . Then you will enjoy time to trekking go up and down visit the main cave so nice, step by step you will arrive Huong Tich cave on the top of the mountain. To see Golden - Silver tree, rice stuck... One hour down. Have lunch at bottom mountain in restaurant beside.
PM: After lunch time, you will see the Heaven Kitchen pagoda and to know about Buddhism ancient architectural at Le Dynasty. Then you will come back tby row - boat trip. 2 hour road trip to Hanoi and arrive at about 18h00

Bat Trang Ceramic Village – Dong Ky Carpentry Village



On the left bank of Hong river and about 10 km from Hanoi in East (in Gia Lam District, Hanoi), there situated a pottery village, which is the most famous and long-standing pottery village in Vietnam for its name of Bat Trang. Up to present, Ba Trang Pottery Village has still been operating and developing ceaselessly. According to a legend, the village was first called as Bach Tho Phuong before its name was changed into Bat Trang.

 Bat Trang Ceramic Village On the left bank of Hong river and about 10 km from Hanoi in East (in Gia Lam District, Hanoi), there situated a pottery village, which is the most famous and long-standing pottery village in Vietnam for its name of Bat Trang. Up to present, Ba Trang Pottery Village has still been operating and developing ceaselessly. People in the village remember in their memory that the place of their origin Bo Bat Village (or called Bach Bat Village), Yen Mo District, Ninh Binh Province.

Dong Ky  Carpentry Village Dong Ky was at one time known as the ‘firecracker village'. Prior to 1995 (when the Government banned fire crackers) there was always a firecracker festival in Dong Ky. A competition for the loudest firecracker once resulted in the building of a gargantuan 16m long firecracker. With the firecracker industry now extinguished, the village survives by producing beautiful traditional furniture inlaid with mother-of-pearl. If you wish, you can have handcrafted furniture custom-made here and exported directly to your address abroad. Arranging the payment may prove a bit tricky if you are leaving Vietnam before the final product is produced and shipped. Dong Ky is 15km north-east of Hanoi.

Itinerary: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi, driver to Bat Trang, the famous village is situated approx 15 outside of Hanoi, surrounded by fertile farmland. Watch the artisans forming, painting and glazing their products, which are then baked for several days in huge kilns. Proceed to Dong Ky, the famous traditional wood carving village, Watch carpenters forming, carving and polishing wood products, making decorated pictures by snail, oyster shells.
